Just one day left for New York Fashion Week, and designers are working to end it with a bang! Yesterday saw some heavy-hitters send their collections down the runway: Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors and Marchesa. Fur and bright colors continue to rule the runways. But on day seven, two other trends got their turn in the spotlight: tonal and prints…

From Michael Kors to Reed Krakoff (who, by the way, is Creative Director of Coach), designers debuted looks in head-to-toe color. Purple on purple, gray on gray, black on black and even white on white were some of the favorites on the runways.

On the other end of the spectrum were wild prints seen on the catwalks of designers like Proenza Schouler, Nanette Lepore and Oscar de la Renta. These prints were big, bold and almost African-inspired in feel. Despite the drastic difference in both prints, what united them? How easy it will be for the average woman to wear them!

Are you as excited as we are to wear these clothes in fall?
