Tracy Reese

For fall 2012, Reese offers an optimistic color palette of vibrant tomato, juniper green and lemon to enliven neutral browns, grays and black. A mixture of fabric, textures and embellishments creates dimension on tailored silhouettes. Bold pops of fiery orange energize the classic contrast of black and white, as seen on her Black Box Jacquard Pea Jacket and Bi-Level Mini (paired with the Tomato Falling Leaves Ruched Turtleneck and Black Tomato Gold Mixed Media Pump). A subtle peplum updates a classic mini, yet remains flattering and wearable.

Byron Lars

If the Byron Lars Beauty Mark Fall 2012 collection had to be summed up in a word, that word would be “shape.” Necklines are built up in front and dive down in back to bare the nape and shoulder blades, while hemlines are fortified with horse hair and net underpinnings to create subtle yet dramatic effects. Even the most ethereal chiffon chemise dresses are shaped to evoke images of deconstructed origami.

Rachel Roy

“This season’s collection borrows inspiration from nature’s landscape,” Roy says. “The color palette contrasts between dark tones of granite, slate and soil with pops of bright pinks and purples. Prominent colors of warm and cool shades of green and berry with brushed coppers are combined in beautiful silhouettes.”
