An A-list, all-Black cast paired with a Alice in Wonderland theme is the recipe for the whimsical 2018 Pirelli calendar.
The iconic calendar — best known for it’s indelible photographs of the worlds sexiest stars — has tapped the likes of Lupita Nyong’o (for the second year in a row), Diddy, Naomi Campbell, RuPaul, Whoopi Goldberg, Djimon Hounsou, Adwoa Aboah and more for it’s 45th edition.
Photographer Tim Walker captures some of our favorite stars in a fanciful rendition of the original Alice in Wonderland book with costumes and props fit for a full blown movie set.
As if the cast didn’t exude enough Black excellence, editor-in-chief of British Vogue Edward Enninful stepped in to style the extravagant shoot.
From RuPaul’s stunning role as the queen of hearts to Sudanese model Duckie Thot’s portrayal as Alice, this stands to be one of Pirelli’s most-anticipated calendars to date.
