While Cardi B has received much success this past year, she has also been dealing with an on-going court battle for a brawl in a New York strip club. Despite the circumstances, she has shown up to her legal battles in looks that can arguably go down as the best court attire of the decade. Yesterday, New York was shockingly warm but, leave it up to Cardi B to appear at her court appearance in a feathered floor-length coat, a pair of red bottoms, and a white button-up shirt and tie (because, you know, it’s court).
Her stylist, Kollin Carter followed up on Instagram with outfit details on the coat, in which they pulled from the brand Adrienne Landau who has worked with Nicki Minaj, Normani, and Lizzo – to only name a few.
And the two definitely made a statement. Kollin’s Instagram comments are filled with cheers to the dynamic duo for nailing another court look. “Legal, but make it FASHION,” “I love you for this,” and “that’s how you show up,” are only some of the few accolades he received – and much deserved.
