The Homecoming performer graced the London Lion King red carpet in a custom yellow gown by Vietnamese-based designer Nguyen Cong Tri. Tri is the first Vietnamese designer to launch a dedicated couture house, as well as the first to showcase a collection at New York Fashion Week. Beyoncé’s look was accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, Jimmy Choo heels and an Anna Cecere clutch.
While attending the premiere with her husband Jay-Z, the couple ran into Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry. The two couples shared kind words in what would later end up becoming a major viral moment.
Beyoncé will be voicing the role of Nala in the upcoming Lion King release, which is set to hit theaters this Friday, July 19th.
