This weekend the annual CurlFest took place at Randall’s Island Park and looks were served. Thousands of black women gathered together on a little island east of Harlem to celebrate the strength of their kinks and coils. And, while their hair was bountiful and regal so was their attire. Guest accessorized their locks with flowers and trendy hairpins while their looks featured tulle skirts, African-print two pieces, and flowy sundresses. The heat did not stop anyone from rocking their snazzy get-ups, instead, guest brought chic umbrellas to protect them from the beaming rays.
