To continue awards season, this evening, BET hosted its annual Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas. The celebration recognizes and celebrates Hip Hop and R&B artists from entertainment legends to millennial pop stars.
In Vegas, you can always bet to catch form-fitting dresses and stand out colors. The glitz and glamour carry what is known to be “Entertainment Capital of the World.” And when you throw black excellence into the mix, you get popping outfits and A-list talent.
Considering its holiday season, hues of black and deep tones of red and green spearheaded the carpets aesthetic tonight. Celebrities like actress Issa Rae and singer Jojo opted for bright colors (currently our favorite holiday trend) while gospel songstress Kelly Price and ESSENCE Producer Danielle Young chose red shimmery pieces to spice up their night.
