Fashion is as much about what’s new on the runways as it is about what everyone in attendance is wearing. There is nothing better than people-watching at the tents during NYFW. If you spend enough time checking everyone else out as we do, we know there’s no way you haven’t spotted editors, stylists and models carrying the Sophia Coppola for Louis Vuitton bag designed by the director herself. Understated chic is Coppola’s M.O., so don’t expect LV initials all over this duffle bag whose shape was inspired by the classic LV Speedy and Keepall. This isn’t an in-your-face, over-embellished, IT handbag and that’s what we’re loving about it. After years of busy, enormous bags, this one just seems so modern, discreet and cool. The bag, which comes in suede and calf leather, has been out since Spring 2009 but the buzz isn’t dying anytime soon. The cobalt one is definitely on our wish list.
