If you are craving more Xscape in your life, we have great news: the 90’s girl group is now bringing a biopic to a TV near you!
The history of Kandi, Tiny, LaTocha and Tamika will appear in movie form in 2018, according to TMZ. The recent re- interest in the group has them already going on their “The Great Xscape Tour” later this month, and starring in a reality TV show currently running on Bravo.
The authorized movie will be produced by Mona Scott Young. And because Bravo is already airing the group’s reality show, it makes sense that they would choose the same network for their TV movie project.
“We’re going to be doing their biopic, which they will be in control of,” Young confirmed to Wendy Williams this week.
A planned unauthorized biopic by TV One led the ladies to launch this competing project.
