Tracee Ellis Ross stopped by ESSENCE Live to talk about her return as the host of BET’s Black Girls Rock.

While there, Ross also dished on Black-ish, revealing that her character, Rainbow Johnson, has a big secret to tell towards the end of the season. “I feel like there’s a lot more to explore. There’s a surprise that get revealed at the end of the season that might reveal where Bow’s character might go.”

When asked about a possible Girlfriends reunion, the actress said there aren’t any plans, but she’d definitely be open to it. Ross also revealed that her real-life personality falls somewhere in between Joan and Bow. “Joan was very neurotic and frightened. And Bow is more centered and sure of herself and I feel like I fall somewhere in between”

Ahead of her Black Girls Rock hosting duries, Ross admitted to crushing on pretty much every amazing Black woman in Hollywood, from Amandla Stenberg and Gabrielle Union to Regina King and Beyonce.
