Netflix’s new upcoming original series, The Get Down, has released its first trailer, and by the looks of it, we may need to add it to our binge-worthy list of Netflix show.

The show will follow teenagers living in the South Bronx in the 1970s during the dawn of the hip-hop era.

In the nearly 3-minute sizzle reel, viewers get a peek at the drama to come, hear the music, and feel the intensity of the story created by Moulin Rouge and the Great Gatsby director Baz Luhrmann.

Season 1 of the series will be comprised of 13-hour long episodes with Waiting to Exhale actor Giancarlo Esposito who is joined by Shameik Moore (Dope), Jaden Smith, Mamadou Athie, Yahya Abdul-Matten II, Justice Smith, among other to tell the story of this mythic saga.

The Get Down will begin streaming in 2016.
