It seems Tamar Braxton’s abrupt firing from The Real was indeed a blessing in disguise.
Less than a week after receiving the news that she would no longer be asked to be a part of The Real panel, the R&B songstress has announced that she’s landed her own talk show to be produced by none other than Steve Harvey. Tamar revealed the upcoming venture during her lengthy radio interview on The Steve Harvey Morning Show earlier this week, where she also went into great detail about everything surround her unexpected firing from The Real.
“We’re proud to announce that my production company has just signed Tamar Braxton to produce a talk show, TV series with Tamar Braxton. We’ve signed her to East 112th Street Productions for a new show,” the comedian and talk show host announced to the listening audience. “We saw the opportunity of what people may recognize as the end, but it’s not. It’s such a beginning. She has such a bright future. She is such a star. She has so much to offer.”
He later added that they believe in Tamar and the reach she has with millennial audience, while again reiterating that she has indeed “already landed on her feet.”
Although no additional details about the show have been given just yet, Tamar did thank Steve in an Instagram post on her personal page shortly after the pair announced plans for the new show.
Wont. He. Do. It.
