The 2019 BET Soul Train Awards was the show to watch on Sunday night as they celebrated the best in R&B and soul live from the Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas.
Chris Brown’s song featuring Drake, “No Guidance,” led the winners after taking home trophies for song of the year, best dance performance and best collaboration performance.
Lizzo was next with two awards—one for video of the year for “Juice” and another for album/mixtape of the year for Cuz I Love You.
And although other winners like Cardi B, H.E.R and Khalid along with performers such as Wale, SiR, Boys II Men, and K. Michelle were some of the highlights of the show, there were many other unforgettable moments from the evening.

Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold hosted the award ceremony and the former “Martin” co-stars’ chemistry was unmatched.

The likes of Kirk Franklin and Monica were involved in presenting the very deserved Lady of Soul award to Yolanda Adams.
Adams then performed a medley of her greatest gospel hits.

Like in previous years, the Soul Cypher was a big hit! Keyshia Cole, Le’Andria Johnson, Anthony Hamilton, Carl Thomas, Robert Glasper & Erykah Badu all brought the soul.

2019 Soul Train Awards: Blue Ivy Is A Winner
Beyonce won the Ashford and Simpson Songwriter’s Award for her songwriting and vocals on “Brown Skin Girl,” a collaboration with Saint Jhn and WizKid, which also marks her daughter Blue Ivy Carter’s first win for a song songwriting credit.
