After literally years of anticipation, Rihanna has finally released her eigth album, ANTI.
The surprise release came last night, the same day she released her latest single, “Work” featuring Drake, exclusively on TIDAL. Earlier this week Bad Girl RiRi hinted that the album was on the brink of dropping after she posted an Instagram pic of her listening to a final cut in Dolce & Gabbana headphones (which retail for a cool $9,000). The ablum leaked online before even being available on TIDAL.
Rihanna Drops New Single ‘Work’ Featuring Drake (But Still No Album!)
The album retains RiRi’s chill Barbadian charm, with tracks like “Needed Me” and “Love On The Brain.” Speculations have been brewing for months as to when Rihanna was going to release the follow-up album to 2012’s Unapologetic. According to Billboard, the album was set to drop in November, but was postponed after Adele released 25.
The album release couldn’t come soon enough—the singer is set to embark on her ANTI world tour on February 26 in San Diego.
