The official trailer for season two of Queen Sugar has dropped and it’s intense.
From the trailer it looks like the focus of the upcoming season will be creating a legacy. The Bordelons have big plans for their Louisiana sugarcane farm, but can they all get on the same page?
Charley’s focused on creating a brand, Ralph Angel seems to have plans of his own, plans that may rip the family apart, and Nova seems caught in the middle. And, all of this is happening as the Bordelons face outside threats.
You could cut the tension with a knife.
The season’s debut is sure to be a hit, Queen Sugar has a history of pulling in big numbers. The series’ two-night debut pulled in an average of 2.42 million viewers, drawing 2.69 million viewer its first night. The show is the second-best premiere for OWN.
Queen Sugar’s season one finale was also big. The episode delivered 2.76 million viewers, making the show the number one cable telecast for women on a Wednesday night.
With such an addictive first season, we’re sure that season two’s premiere will have just as many fans glued to their screens.
We’ve missed the Bordelons, can’t wait to have them back.
