What’s beef to a chicken sandwich?
Apparently a lot when it comes to who’s sandwich takes the top spot. So much so that some of your favorite fast food joints are trying to win customers’ hearts—and tastebuds—to prove who has the best one and they’re doing so in the most hilarious way possible.
When Popeyes announced that they were coming for each of their competitors’ necks with their newly-imagined chicken sandwich, it led to a Twitter war that we didn’t know we needed—but loved, nonetheless.
Chick-Fil-A wasn’t going to take this competition lightly, so they decided to throw a few subtle shots…
…Which led to an all-out Twitter war, with the official Popeyes account throwing some of the most epic shade of all time.
That’s when Wendy’s decided it was time for them to enter the dispute as well.
And then even Shake Shack had a few words!

Now people are picking sides between the two fast food chains and it’s not looking good for Chic-Fil-A. Maybe at this point they’ll change their policy about being open on Sundays?
