Missy Elliot‘s fortitude in the music industry has supplied us with dozens of hits since the 1990s. Her newest remix for, “I’m Better” unites the O.G.s of hip hop for a trap-inspired song produced by Lamb x Yonni.

“Brought a few legends out for this one,” Elliot said on Twitter about the remix that features Lil Kim, Trina and Eve.

The original song dropped in January on what fans are hoping will be her seventh studio album to hit stores this year. In 2016 she released “WTF (Where They From)” and “Pep Rally” ten years after putting out an album.

“One thing I won’t do is compromise,” Missy said in her recent interview with ELLE. “I will never do something based on what everyone else is telling me to do… I’ve been through so many stumbling blocks to build a legacy, so I wouldn’t want to do something just to fit in. Because I never fit in.”

In layman’s terms: we’re gonna have to sit tight until she’s ready to release a full album.
