Flavor of Love changed reality television.
While the upcoming season of The Bachelorette will be the most historic in franchise history — Rachel Lindsay will be the shows first Black bachelorette — it was Flavor of Love that set the bar for reality dating television.
The VH1 show lasted three seasons, the third ending with Flav deciding not to pick any of the women, instead announcing he would marry a woman named Liz, the mother of his seventh child.
