It’s been a year since Kelly Rowland released her single “Dumb,” and last Thursday, Frank Gatson Jr., Beyoncé’s creative director, finally dropped the music video on YouTube.
In the video, directed by Gatson himself, Rowland teams up with musician and actor Trevor Jackson for a dance number choreographed by Kany Diabate, Marie Poppins, Anthony Thomas, AJ, Kenya, and Q Anthony.
The theatrical number pairs Rowland and Jackson in matching black and white attire for a synchronized dance number; Rowland embellishes her look with a pop of red.
According to Billboard, Rowland revealed in a since-deleted Instagram post that the video was filmed back in March. Better late than never!
