Get ready Fast and Furious fans! The first trailer for the spin-off film — the ninth project in the Furious franchise — Hobbs & Shaw just hit the web and it’s going to be hard to pick a side.
In the film, Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) team up to take down Brixton (Idris Elba), a “cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist,” who won’t let anyone, especially law enforcement, stop him from world domination.
Though Hobbs and Shaw don’t get along, they join forces when Brixton gets his hands on a biological weapon that could alter humanity forever.
Movie fans are supposed to root for the good guys, but watching Elba play the deliciously bad — and super powerful — Brixton in Hobbs & Shaw will definitely make that hard.
Either way, it’s clear Britxon will give Hobbs and Shaw a run for their money, I just hope he sticks around longer than this one film.
