The seventh season of Game of Thrones has come to an end and pretty much everything fans hoped would happen did. Spoilers ahead!

Obviously, Dany and Jon hooked up, something that seemed destined to happen, but the most satisfying moment of the season seven finale was watching Littlefinger finally get his.

Fans of the show know that Littlefinger, aka Petyr Baelish, sparked the war between the Lannisters and Starks, setting off the events that have led us here. But, on Sunday, viewers got to witness Lord Baelish’s demise as Sansa turned the tables on the cunning mastermind. It seems the Stark children were plotting all along, surprising Littlefinger at a trial he believed was Arya’s.

All season, Lord Baelish had been plotting to turn Sansa and Arya against each other, but instead the sisters were one step ahead with their own plan, accusing Littlefinger of murder and treason at the unexpected trial. Fans watched Littlefinger weep and beg for mercy before Arya killed him with the very dagger he’d used in an assassination attempt against Bran, who was present at the trial and had some evidence of his own against Lord Baelish.

With Littlefinger gone there’s still a bigger threat on the horizon. The Night King and his icy new undead dragon have destroyed the Wall and the White Walkers are on their way. Cersei is planning to double cross everyone and Tormund might be dead — HE BETTA NOT BE! — things are not looking good for Westeros. And, what does it mean now that we all know Jon is the real heir to the Iron Throne?

With rumors that Game of Thrones‘ final season may not air until 2019, fans might have to wait quite sometime to find out who wins the throne.
