Getting your Trinity Audio player ready…
Summer 2018 gave us a ton of bops and great albums, including The Carter’s Everything Is Love, The Internet’s Hive Mind, Drake’s Scorpion, and Ariana Grande’s Sweetener. Now, fall is nearly upon us and even more of our favorite artists are set to release new music.
So, get in a few more spins of those summer albums before you put them away. Because soon you’ll have to update your playlist with these fall albums sure to get stuck in your head.
01
Prince – ‘Piano & A Microphone 1983’ (Sept. 21)
The upcoming posthumous album, released by the late singer’s estate, includes previously unheard tracks recorded in the singer’s home studio as he played the piano. Prince Estate entertainment adviser Troy Carter said in a statement via Billboard, “This raw, intimate recording, which took place at the start of Prince’s career right before he achieved international stardom, is similar in format to the Piano & A Microphone Tour that he ended his career with in 2016. The Estate is excited to be able to give fans a glimpse of his evolution and show how his career ultimately came full circle with just him and his piano.”

I’m so thankful to be in control! So thankful for the team. This is INSANE to listen back to like yo… I HAD TO GO THROUGH SOME SH*T TO DO SOME SH*T!!!” Needless to say, this album will probably pack some emotional punches.
