Seems things are still a bit weird between Angela Simmons and Romeo Miller.
In an exclusive Growing Up Hip Hop clip, the twosome are having fun on the set of a photoshoot until an unexpected guests makes things a bit awkward.
Kiana Alexis, model and Romeo’s new girlfriend, drops by the set to surprise the entertainer. However, her arrival seems to cause a little tension between Romeo and Angela. “I can definitely tell that Angela’s energy and vibes definitely changed a little bit,” Romeo says.
Angela and Romeo have a bit of a murky past, which can sometimes make things tense between the two. The duo dated years ago, but things didn’t quite work. And, last year, Angela welcomed a son, Sutton Joseph, with her fiancé Sutton Tennyson, news that blindsided her Growing Up Hip Hop co-stars.
Despite the surprising news, Romeo told ESSENCE, “I think we’ll always be friends. We’ve had a connection from day one. We’re business partners on this, we created Growing Up Hip Hop. And, now to see it have franchises like Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta, hopefully, we’ll have Miami, Japan, I don’t know. Wherever we can go. That was always the vision and we’ll always have that connection.”
