There are a number of new titles headed to Netflix in February.
This month, the streaming giant has a few originals up its sleeve and favorites like Cabin Fever, Men In Black and Winnie. We’re particularly excited about Netflix’s sci-fi original Altered Carbon, Irreplaceable You, and Marlon Wayans’ comedy special Woke-ish.
Starring Renée Elise Goldsberry, Altered Carbon is a sci-fi series where physical bodies are interchangeable and immortality is the norm. The storyline is centered on a soldier searching for the killer of a highly influential aristocrat. Based on the novel by Richard K. Morgan and set 300 years in the future, the series is sure to involve a number of twists and turns that will leave viewers shook.
Next up is the romantic dramedy Irreplaceable You, which stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw as a woman recently diagnosed with cancer, who sets out to find a new love for her fiancé.
Then we have Wayans bringing his first one-hour comedy special, Marlon Wayans: Woke-ish, to Netflix. The stand-up special will see the comedian use his trademark humor to explore race, life and everything in between.
