Here’s some entertainment news to get you through the rest of your week: How To Get Away With Murder is adding one of Hollywood’s greatest actors to its cast. Cicely Tyson will be guest starring on ABC’s hit drama when the series returns in the new year. No word yet on what her character will be playing, but it’s sure to add to the intensity of this of this juicy new show. [Access Hollywood] Meanwhile, HTGAWM‘s star, Viola Davis, is making her own moves. She’s reportedly joining the cast of the highly anticipated super hero film, Suicide Squad, as the super villain Amanda Waller, a prison warden in the DC Comics universe. Viola will take on the role of the former congressional aide who joins the Squad working for the government in exchange for amnesty. [Latino Review] Hillary Clinton is telling the world that Black Lives Matter. While condemning government torture practices at the the Ripple of Hope Awards ceremony, the former First Lady drew links between violence abroad and violence at home. “Each of us has to grapple with some hard truths about race and justice in America,” she said. “We have allowed our criminal justice system to get out of balance. I personally hope that these tragedies give us the opportunities to come together as a nation to find our balance again.” [Huffington Post] In an appearance on The Colbert Report, rapper Kendrick Lamar treated viewers to the debut of an as-of-yet untitled song. Lamar is the last musical guest to appear on the satire news program that’s wrapping up its 10-year run. Take a look at Kendrick Lamar’s performance below.
