The day is almost here!
Chance the Rapper is set to finally release his debut album, The Big Day.
The rapper shared the album’s cover art and release date with fans on Instagram, writing, “This is my debut #owbum, The Big Day 7/26 preorder now @ chanceraps.com #thebigday.”
Back in May, Chance told Apple Music’s Beats 1 host Zane Lowe that the album is inspired by his wedding day.
“The whole album has been inspired by the day that I got married and how I was dancing that day…It was the hardest I ever danced in my life and I’m a great longtime dancer. Everything in it is all the different styles of music that make me want to dance and remind me of that day and remind me of that night and all those people that were there.”
In March, the rapper tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Kirsten Corley. The pair have daughter, Kensli.
