Boseman plays T’Challa, aka Black Panther, the film’s titular character and Marvel superhero, set to succeed his father as King of Wakanda. Boseman’s Black Panther will face off against Michael B. Jordan’s Erik Killmonger, who, according to the comics, returns to Wakanda after his family has been exiled and attempts to overthrow T’Challa.

Nyong’o and Gurira play Nakia and Okoye, respectively, members of T’Challa’s elite all-female bodyguard group, Dora Milaje.

Fans took to Twitter to express their excitement over the newly released images and their love for Wakanda.

And, while we’re excited for the stunning new posters, we’re once again reminded that Black Panther doesn’t come out until February 16, which means we have another four months before we get to feast our eyes on the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

We’ll try to wait patiently.
