On Tuesday, BET’s highly anticipated three-night The New Edition Story miniseries kicked off with a bang, and fans rushed to social media to share their thoughts.

During the first episode, we witnessed the formation of New Edition as just a few little kids pursuing a dream, money, and girls. Many Twitter users were floored by the flawless casting, with one writing, “I’m convinced this little boy is actually Bobby Brown’s son. Hell it might even be Bobby himself.”

You about to see all these kids playing Denzel, Samuel L. Jackson, Jamie Foxx & Will Smith's sons in movies moving forward. #NewEditionBET

Others had a lot of questions, specifically about who was looking out for these kids and why no one read their music contract.

We can’t wait for the next episode!
