Back in December, Lozada talked to the ladies of The Real about her experience with domestic violence and shared advice with women who were victims as well. Lozada suffered abuse at the hands of her ex-husband Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, during a segment on Kansas City Chiefs player Tyreek Hill pleading guilty to assautling his pregnant girlfriend, Lozada told the audience, "My heart goes out to the victim and I know people, please don’t tweet me telling me 'This happened 4 years ago, get over it.' It’s something that stays with you forever, okay. So, my thing, my main concern is, is for the victim," adding, "Honor yourself and do the right thing because we all know, if it happens once, it’s going to happen again."

VH1's Basketball Wives LA is welcoming new faces and seeing a familiar one return.
Joining the show will be the mother of Nick Young's two kids, Keonna Green, and mother of Dwyane Wade's 3-year-old son, Aja Metoyer. Both women have been caught up in their fair share of drama.

Metoyer hooked up with Wade during his break from now-wife Gabrielle Union and gave birth to their son in 2013. Green became pregnant with her and Young's second child while the basketball player was still with Iggy Azalea.

Along with the new additions, some familiar faces are returning to the show. Evelyn Lozada confirmed as much when she appeared on The Real, saying, "I know what everything’s thinking. Everyone’s like ‘Is she going crazy? This is her going backwards.’ I’ve had several conversations with [creator] Shaunie [O'Neal] about this and we just really want to change the direction of the show. I feel like a lot of the arguments and a lot of the story lines have kinda ya know, been done before. We really want to add substance and depth to the show."

Lozada left Basketball Wives after its fifth season in Miami and starred in her own reality show Livin’ Lozada on OWN.

Looks like the new season is shaping up nicely. Stay tuned for more info.
