Getting your Trinity Audio player ready…

Wendell Carter Jr. caught everyone’s eye with his Black Panther-inspired outfit during the 2018 NBA draft earlier this week — and he wasn’t the only one.

The former Duke player apparently coordinated his outfit with his mother and father, who both rocked similar looks. Carter’s tiger sash was apparently influenced by the Marvel blockbuster.

“I saw a ‘Black Panther’ commercial, saw he had something wrapped around the top of his suit, so I was like, ‘Might as well try it out,’” Carter told NBA TV.

According to Yahoo Sports, his parents also wore Gucci outfits that also bore a tiger. And Carter topped off his black-on-black suit with the ultimate accessory:  the Wakanda Forever sign.
