Kerry Washington joined stars like Questlove, Common, and Randy Jacskon to deliver the very important message that, “It’s on us.”

As a part of a White House PSA, the stars got together to speak out against sexual assault, People reports. 

President Obama’s star-studded campaign comes as the focus on encouraging young men to take a stand against assaults and to step in if they see one happening.

According to the White House, one in five women on college campuses have been sexually assaulted, with only 12 percent of those cases being reported. President Obama 

The “It’s On Us” campaign urges everyone to consider that stopping sexual assualt is a part of their personal responsibility and to step in when they suspect a woman can’t or won’t consent. 

In the video Washington says it’s on us “to get in the way before it happens.”
