Amanda Gorman’s accomplishments are already pretty major.

The Harvard sophomore was recently named the country’s first youth poet laureate. She has also released a book of poetry, “The One For Whom Food Is Not Enough,” and been recognized for her work as an activist by the likes of Hillary Clinton and Cynthia Enrivo.

And she stays busy, despite already being a student! Her organization, One Pen One Page, was founded in 2016 as a platform “for student storytellers to change the world.” Plus, she is working on a digital project that aims to empower teenage girls, according to The Root.

The 19-year-old, however, has bigger goals on her bucketlist, she told The New York Times in a recent profile: she wants to run for office!

“This is a long, long, faraway goal, but 2036 I am running for office to be president of the United States,” she said.

“So you can put that in your iCloud calendar.”

Yes! Keep dreaming big girl!
