Black Paper Party is back to sprinkle even more magic and melanin into your holiday season. The Black woman–founded brand, which provides cultural representation through holiday decor and wrapping paper, just unveiled its 2025 Holiday Collection. This year’s collection features all-new wrapping paper, gift bags, stockings, ceramics, door clings, and an activity set inspired by the warmth of Black family traditions. Every piece was designed by Black artists and infused with cultural authenticity, not just reimagined holiday tropes.
“Our characters and patterns are rooted in real stories and experiences,” said CEO Madia Willis in a press release. “From kids in hot cocoa mugs to nutcrackers with grillz, each design carries the soul of our community.”
The new line continues the brand’s mission of “Wrapresentation,” making sure that when it comes to holiday gifting, everyone can get into the spirit by seeing characters and illustrations that mirror themselves.
The 2025 drop brings a range of vibrant new collections to major retailers:
- Walmart introduces The 12 Days of Christmas/Nile Noel Collection, a stunning blend of ancestral pride and modern flair featuring wrapping paper, stockings, and décor with African-inspired textiles and symbols of unity.
- Macy’s offerings include a luxe selection of wrapping paper starring three standout trends: Rich Auntie Vibes, Pure Jubilee, and Holiday Royale. Shoppers can anticipate the return of Aunt Holly in her full “soft life” era, while the new Holiday Royale line channels whimsical travel energy inspired by director Wes Anderson’s storytelling.
- Family Dollar rounds out the holiday cheer with affordable metallic wrapping paper featuring heartwarming winter characters and scenes that capture the season’s simple pleasures.
Founded in 2020 by Madia Willis, J’Aaron “Jae” Merchant, and Jasmine Hudson, Black Paper Party continues to prioritize inclusive holiday design.
