Zendaya and Storm Reid have already proven themselves to be the next generation of talented young Black actors in Hollywood, but what we love most about these young ladies, is that they’re smart, level-headed and most importantly — unproblematic.

Even better, the two seem to have a genuine chemistry both on and off screen.

Because there’s no Euphoria tonight…I present your favorite tv sister duo @stormreid

In what could be predicted as a case of foreshadowing, the relationship between the pair all started when Storm was cast as Meg Murry in Ava DuVernay’s A Wrinkle in Time. Zendaya, showing her support to the young actor, quickly noticed that Storm could be her “long lost sister” – and now they play sisters in HBO’s Euphoria as Rue and Gia Bennett.

This is awesome, two bright beautiful lights✨💡(side note, Storm may be my long lost little sister) https://t.co/FoVG1RGo7h

The premise of the show follows main character Rue (played by Zendaya), who overdoses on heroin and spends the summer before her junior year in rehab. Storm plays Gia, Rue’s younger sister, who finds the troubled teen unresponsive on her bedroom floor, navigates life after the “incident” with her sister, and subsequently what’s it’s like to grow up as a teenager in today’s America.

Name a better duo. We’ll wait. #RueandGia #Euphoria

While the show just wrapped it’s season one finale and season two is in the works, we’re happy to see the bond still strong between this dynamic on-screen sister duo.

We can’t wait to see what they both have next in store!
