In a candid discussion at the 63rd Cannes Lion Festival, Will Smith opened up about his past professional mistakes and JUST, a company that ethically sources its water and packages it in an environmentally friendly paper box. Smith, along with Queen Latifah and his son, Jaden, is an investor.

Smith was inspired to get involved with JUST by his son. He revealed that when Jaden voiced his concerns about plastic pollution in the ocean, he felt the need to help. “Improving lives is how I want to move forward,” Smith said.

Smith also spoke frankly about previous career choices, saying, “I had so much success that I started to taste global blood and my focus shifted from my artistry to winning.
