This morning, Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom visited Today to reveal the most liked picture of the year. The award went to Justin Bieber, whose photo with “uncle Will” received a whopping 1.4 million likes.
Bieber’s massive 12 million following helped him gain such an accolade. Roughly 55 million photos are uploaded to Instagram every day. The busiest day for the app was Thanksgiving—which was also the first day of Hanukkah this year.
The CEO also shared the six most used hashtags of the year (in no particular order): #love, #friends, #fashion, #selfie, #food and #tbt.
