After some tumultuous years, Tammy Rivera and Waka Flocka renewed their vows in a gorgeous ceremony in Mexico this weekend.
The former Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta couple said “I do” again on Saturday in a gorgeous beach-view wedding in front of Rivera’s daughter Charlie, as well as friends and family.
The bride wore a stunning, though controversial, dress that showed off her curves in all the right places.
The couple wed in 2014 and their relationship was chronicled on VH1’s Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta. In 2016, the duo endured a public separation over infidelity rumors, but eventually found their way back to each other.
“One thing I can say that’s hard about repairing a marriage when it’s been broken is the trust part,” Rivera told ESSENCE in 2017 on her decision to take back her husband. “Being able to trust them because once you’ve faced infidelity, it’s hard. Having a positive mindset really helped me because if you think nothing but positive thoughts then that’s what’s going to happen. But he changed completely.”
That change can be seen in the current season of WE-TV’s Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition.
“I left with so many gems,” Flocka told the Atlanta Constitution-Journal in a recent Facebook Live interview.
