Viola Davis and her husband Julius Tennon celebrated 15 years of marriage this weekend!
The Oscar-winner sent out a special post acknowledging the decade and a half the couple has shared as man and wife.
“The best 15 years of my life!!” she captioned a photo of the duo. “You are my heart. Happy Anniversary!!!”
The actors wed in 2003 and adopted their daughter, Genesis, in October of 2011. Davis shared another photo of their whole family.
“Met you with bad credit and skepticism about love.” she wrote. “Found you and it all fell away.”
Davis has said that she met Tennon three weeks after she prayed a special prayer for love to come into her life.
“I was the loneliest woman in the world, and someone said, ‘You should just pray for a husband,” Davis told Page Six. “I said I wanted a big black man from the South who looked like a football player, who already had children, who maybe had been married before Three and a half weeks later, I met my husband.”
