In the ultimate cool boss move, Tyler Perry flew staffers in his private jet from Atlanta, Georgia to Copenhagen, Denmark to see Beyoncé perform.
According to Page Six, staffers not only got to see the singer perform, but had the opportunity to meet her as well. A source revealed that Perry wanted anonymity and a chance to enjoy the show, hence the Copenhagen leg of the tour. He told staffers to pack up and get ready because they “were going to meet Beyoncé.”
Costume designer Crystal Renee posted about the surprise trip, “The moment your boss says cut your vacation short & let’s hop on the jet & go to Copenhagen to see Beyoncé!” And, Crystal Fox, who stars in Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots, also went along. Renee added on Instagram, “This is just another testament to the type of person Mr. P is!!!”
