It was a close call for The Weeknd when a piece of stage equipment fell and nearly hit him during his show in Mexico City on Sunday.
The “Starboy” singer shared a video of the shocking incident on his Instagram Stories. The equipment landed just inches away from where he was standing on stage.
The Weeknd, however, continued singing without even flinching. He continued singing “Party Monster”— a track from his 2016 album Starboy.
Despite the incident, he took the stage again in Mexico City for his second show the following day.
We are glad The Weeknd, who’s in the middle of his self-titled world tour, is alright.
