Take a Look at the Cover of Taraji P. Henson's New Memoir

Taraji P. Henson’s upcoming memoir now has a release date and a cover.

The Empire actress will drop her memoir, Around The Way Girl, on October 11, which you can pre-order now.

Henson shared the news via Instagram along with images of the cover: one is a throwback image of Henson smiling in her graduation photo and the other is the sultry Hollywood star we know today.

On Simon & Schuster’s website, the actress reveals what the book is all about, “I’m just a girl who went to Hollywood with my son, $700, and a dream. There were some detours along the way, some heartache, and a whole lot of hustle. My family, friends, and fans always keep it real with me. Know that I’m going to keep it real with you. Check out my story. I hope you laugh with me and cry with me and maybe get a little bit inspired.”
