Stacey Dash is mulling over a run for Congress.
The Republican actress tweeted her followers Friday, asking their opinions on whether she should officially enter politics.
“A number of people online and off have suggested I run for political office,” she tweeted. “I wanted to see what my online community thinks of this idea as I mull the possibilities. Thoughts?”
The response seems to have been enough because Dash issued a follow-up tweet Saturday morning announcing that she was considering a run.
“In response to numerous calls for me to run for office, I am considering a run for Congress. Would love to know what my fans and friends think,” she tweeted.
It was announced last year that Dash’s Fox News contract would be ending. The actress, an early and vocal supporter of Trump, signed with Fox back in 2014.
