Spike Lee’s newest film, Da Sweet Blood of Jesus, isn’t technically a vampire movie, but it involves a lot of bloodsucking.
In the Kickstarter-funded film, expected to drop next February, Lee tells a love story of a man (Stephen Tyrone Williams) suffering from an insatiable addiction to blood after being cursed by an African artifact. However, the not-vampire runs into a problem once he falls in love.
