SZA and Solange are collaborating in an upcoming project that is nothing short of a black girl magic smorgasbord.
SZA confirmed in a USA Today interview that the “Don’t Touch My Hair” singer had directed her video for “The Weekend.” The song is a fan favorite off SZA’s debut album CTRL.
“I love her,“ SZA said of Solange. ”I think the universe is just bringing us closer to each other. That’s my homegirl.“
Though she refused to share too many details, SZA did reveal that the video featured 10 different locations and looks. Knowing Solange’s particular eye and aesthetic, we are sure the results will be amazing!
The duo have also showed their appreciation for each other on social media. Solange recently shared a video on Instagram of herself jamming to SZA’s “Love Galore”
