Serena Williams is pregnant!!!
Mass hysteria erupted when she posted her baby bump on Snapchat. In the caption, the 35-year-old world renowned athlete also revealed that she’s about 20 weeks along in her pregnancy.
In January Williams announced her engagement to longtime partner, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. The 33-year-old entrepreneur popped the question during an intimate dinner.
“It feels good,” she said of the engagement during a post-match press conference after securing a first-round victory in the Australian Open as reported by PEOPLE.
“I really haven’t thought about it too much, because I wasn’t even really gonna think about it until after the tournament,” she said about the wedding. “So, I just keep saying, ‘February, I’ll start looking at the bigger picture of my life.’ But right now I’m just so focused that this is all I can think about.”
Fast forward to today and the internet can’t even handle her latest announcement. The reactions range from congratulatory to hilarious and even include a few that reference Serena’s exes Drake and Common.
It must also be noted that in addition to today being tennis rival Maria Sharapova’s birthday, Serena was also pregnant when she won her record-breaking 23rd Grand Slam title at the Australian Open.
