Kerry Washington is reportedly pregnant with her first child.
According to PEOPLE, our November cover star and her husband, San Francisco cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, are expecting a little bundle of joy in late spring.
“Kerry and Nnamdi are ecstatic,” said a source.
Washington is notoriously known for keeping her private life private. In late June, she quietly wed Asomugha in Blaine County, Idaho after dating him for a year.
In light of today’s news, Washington is still scheduled to host Saturday Night Live this weekend. “She didn’t want the focus to be on whether or not she has a bump,” the source told PEOPLE.
Washington’s rep told ESSENCE.com she doesn’t comment on her client’s personal life.
