Queen Latifah was the latest victim of what Fox32 is calling a “trend plaguing drivers” in south Fulton County, Georgia.

Car thieves are jumping into the driver’s seat of cars and pulling off while the owners are busy pumping gas.

Latifah was not driving or in the car at the time, but police say a friend was driving the car when they made a stop at a Shell gas station on December 20. While pumping gas, a white BMW pulled up beside him. He heard the car start, then saw someone drive away in Latifah’s car. Police called the owner of the stolen vehicle, who identified herself as Dana Owens, Latifah’s real name.

Atlanta officers were able to track down the vehicle along with another car believed to be stolen. Latifah’s car was filled with fruit punch and lemonade bottles, but the thieves were nowhere to be found.
