One of our favorite actresses has joined Hulu’s upcoming revival of Veronica Mars.
TVLine reports that A Different World‘s Dawnn Lewis will join the cast as police chief Marcia Langdon.
In the series, Langdon is a former Army Brigadier General who returns to her hometown of Neptune, where the show takes place, and runs for sheriff after witnessing the corruption that has taken place.
Production is currently underway with series lead Kristen Bell set to return.
And Lewis is keeping busy. Along with nabbing a role on Veronica Mars, she also has two musicals on the way, according to IMDB, Be the Light and Revival!
