President Obama Makes Plans for Malia's First Car

Like any dad, President Obama doesn’t want his girls growing up too fast — and although a little early, he’s already gearing up for Malia’s teenage years.

In a recent speech with members of the auto industry, he joked about his plans for her first car, CNN.com reports.

“It’s only a matter of time until Malia gets her learner’s permit,” he said playfully, “so I’m hoping to see one of those models that gets a top speed of 15 miles an hour and the ejector seat any time boys are in the car. So, hopefully you guys have some of those in the pipeline.”

But with Malia having just turned 13 on July 4, it looks like he has a little time before kicking his car plans into action.
