Harvest Time at The White House

The First Lady had quite a bit of help with her White House garden today. Students from the local Bancroft and Kimball Elementary Schools joined Mrs. Obama to harvest herbs and veggies on the South Lawn. The First Lady also talked to the students about the importance of healthy living and introduced the children to some of the financial benefits of eating locally grown produce.
